Our Story
Serving Lafayette Since 1984
1984. Dr. Kimberly L. Allred, Au.D., opened ACI Hearing Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her goal was simple. Give Acadiana families a hearing clinic that treated every patient like a person, not a number.
Four decades of care. ACI has served Lafayette Parish and the Acadiana region for more than 42 years now. The clinic grew from one audiologist into a full team of four Doctors of Audiology. The care standard has never changed.
Today. Dr. Allred still owns and leads the practice. She works alongside Dr. Elizabeth LeMaire, Dr. Sarah Lalande-Davies, and Dr. Courtney Barbier. All four are doctoral-level audiologists. Every patient sees a doctor, every visit.
2025. ACI Hearing Center was voted Acadiana's Choice for hearing care. That award came from patients across the region. It is the recognition we are most proud of, because it comes from the people we serve.
