Dr. Kimberly (Peezie) L. Allred graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1994 with her Masters Degree in Audiology. In 2002, she graduated with her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida.

She began working for ACI Hearing & Balance Center, Inc. in 1994 as both an Audiologist and Office Manager. In January 2002, she purchased the practice from Dr. Henry Trahan, Au.D.

Dr. Allred specializes in diagnostic audiology, including infant to adult hearing evaluations, Custom molds (including musician's molds, hearing protection, and swim molds), Vestibular (balance) testing, Auditory Brainstem Response Testing (ABR), Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emission Testing (DPOAE), Hearing Aid selections, fittings and programming of the latest in Digital Technology.

Patti Butler joined our practice in August 2008. She is extremely proficient in running our office. Her duties include scheduling, accounts payable/receivable, insurance claims, tracking all hearing aids and accessories, and overall general patient care. She has been a wonderful asset to our company.


Shannon Zaunbrecher, Au.D.

Shannon joined our practice in June 2008 as an Au.D. Student Clinician.  She was previously a hearing aid dispenser and has continued her education by attending Lamar University and finished with her Doctor of Audiology degree in May 2009.
